It’s Konstantin Orbelyan’s 84th Anniversary

Today is USSR and RA People’s Artist, composer and pianist Konstantin Orbelyan’s birthday. Today he turns 84.
K.Orbelyan was born in 1928 in Armavior City, Russia. Since 1956 he’s lead Pop Orchestra of Armenia for about 3 years and a half. He’s the author of the songs of many pop and jazz singers. He also wrote instrumental works. Many of the Russian and Soviet singers performed Orbelyan’s songs.
Alla Pugachova, Larisa Dolina, Irina Ponarovskaya began their creative way through his songs. Few know, that Orbelyan is also author of ballet and symphony.
Currently he’s living in the USA.
