Police Take Measures to Return NA License Plates

As we’ve informed, some MPs of NA previous - 4th convocation, in spite of NA authorities’ strong requests, don’t want to return their license plates attached by NA, the date of the use of which has expired on May 31, on the first session day of NA 5th convocation. According to our data, NA authorities have been obliged to appeal to RA police, with a request to announce an investigation on the above mentioned license plates.
In this concern we contacted to the media department of the police, where our data was confirmed. Turns out, NA staff submitted a request to the police in order to find the license plates of the vehicles of the MPs of NA previous-4th convocation. At present traffic police takes measures to return the license plates. Moreover, based on the 5th convocation MPs’ requests, the NA staff signs contracts concerning the registration of the latters’ vehicles and the disposal of respective license plates.
Concerning the same issue, we contacted as well Hmayak Mkrtchyan - NA manager, who noted, that, indeed, the term of the contract has already expired, and neither the contracts, nor the tech-passports are valid any more. “We’ve handed to the State Auto Inspection, SAI itself collects the license plates, we are in touch with SAI,” said Hmayak Mkrtchyan.
"Not a serious problem occurred. Maybe there is someone who is on vacation for 2 months, and will return the license plate, when he comes back. No MP will cause any problem. It’s a pure technical process, it is in process, they weren’t able physically,” concluded Hmayak Mkrtchyan.
It is surprising, but the NA manager did not know who are those MPs.
