Charles Aznavour to Sing in Akhaltskha

World famous French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour will participate in the concert dedicated to the opening of renovated Rabat fortress in Georgia’s Akhaltskha city.
Accompanied by a group of 25 musicians, Aznavour will sing his world hits during an hour-and-a-half-long concert on August 16, Georgian Rustavi2 television reported. Georgian government completely restored Rabat fortress which houses a hotel and a cafe. The construction of amphitheatre where Aznavour will perform is underway.
Akhaltskha, Akhaltsikhe in Georgian, is a city in Javakhk—Georgian name: Javakheti—which is an Armenian-populated part of Georgia’s southeastern Samtskhe-Javakheti Province.
