Harsnaqar Restaurant Case Reconsidered

Armenian police reconsidered and made stricter charges against the six arrested on the Harsnaqar case.
According to the new accusation, the arrested are charged with deliberately inflicting severe damage to health, which was committed by a group of persons, by an organized group, and recklessly caused the victimэs death, intentional damage to health of medium severity and beating or other violent acts, police press service informs. The reconsidered charges refer to all the six arrested.
To note, an incident had occurred at Yerevan’s Harsnaqar Restaurant on June 17, where several military doctors including Edgar Mikoyan, Arkadi Aghajanyan, Garik Soghomonyan, Artak Bayadyan and Vahe Avetyan were brutally beaten by Hayrapetyan’s security personnel. Vahe Avetyan died in hospital on June 29. The Police have detained six people.
