North Korea to Ask for Food from UNO

UNO announced that North Korea officially applied to UNO with the request to supply food as soon as possible. This informs BBC, stating that there is severe food deficit in July, after the flood.
Specialists point out that people of North Korea need urgent supply of food. The flood, which killed 119 people, paralyzed the country’s agriculture, which was in bad condition besides that.
International Red Cross declared, that it is going to provide 300 thousand dollars aid to the sufferers of flood.
According to UNO reports, about 2/3 of North Korea population suffers from chronic bad nutrition.
