Facebook Estimated Number of Fake Accounts

Facebook social network administration estimated the existing fake accounts on the network, reports Lenta.ru
Thus, from about 955 million accounts, about 4.8 percent are the second accounts of those who’d already been registered. This means, that about 40 million people have two accounts. About 2.4 percent of accounts are the accounts of different organizations, businesses and pets instead of individuals. The administration of the social net advises the latter to open pages instead of creating accounts.
And about 1.5 percent of accounts are accounts of non existing people. The latter, as a rule, are to spread spam and to violate other rules of the social network.
