The nomination process of the candidates in the Elections to the Local Self-Government Bodies of September 9 will launch tomorrow. The deadline for submitting the candidates’ documents is August 10.
Today Lurer.com contacted some political forces, in order to clarify their participation format and expectation in the Elections to the Local Self-Government Bodies. In the case of PAP and “Heritage” these are radically different.
According to the secretary of PAP parliamentary faction, Naira Zohrabyan, PAP will nominate its candidates in the majority of communities, irrelevant of the size. Naira Zohrabyan says, that less participation of such serious political force as PAP is, would be illogical, because the parliamentary elections provided a high resource of trust. “The candidates are almost chosen, but the essential is not the personalities, but the active participation in almost all the communities,” Naira Zohrabyan said in an interview with Lurer.com.
Unlike PAP, “Heritage” party doesn’t pay too much attention to the Elections to Local Self-Government Bodies.
“There is no aim of large participation in the Elections to the Local Self-Government Bodies, since virtually, the problems, that the country has faced are not possible to solve in the frames of ELSGB,” Armen Martirosyan, the vice-chairman of “Heritage” party, said in the interview with us.
Though “Heritage” won’t have an active participation in the Elections to the Local Self-Government Bodies, but will support by all means the partisans who want to participate in the election and will serve all the party resources to their victory.
