LinkedIn Social Net Quarterly Profit to Increase by 89%

In the second quarter of 2012 revenue of LinkedIn social network increased by 89%, reaching to $228.2 million. Predictions of the revenue of the second quarter were just $216.3 million. The revenue figure of the same period of the previous year was $121 million. LinkedIn’s net profit of previous year decreased by $4.5 million, reaching to $2.9 million. The predicted $880-900 million annual revenue of the company grew to $915-925 million. Analyst of Morningstar newspaper, Rick Summer said, “Another successful quarter. This company goes on working perfectly and predicting the expected demand.”
There are three sources of LinkedIn social network income - customers with premium accounts, advertisement and different companies that make use of their website to recruit employees.
