Memory Week in Memory of Russian-Georgian War Victims

From this day in Georgia begins a memory week of victims of Russian-Georgian war in 2008, reports Novosti-Gruzia. The symbol of the memory week is red tulip.
The ceremony, that has become traditional, is hold with the initiative of Georgian Prime-Time magazine. During the week symbols of red tulips will be sold in Georgia, each cost 1.5 lari (about 350 AMD) and all proceeds will be spent on charitable contributions.
To note, during the war that broke four years ago, the Georgian side had 413 victims, 166 of which were soldiers, 16 - policemen, and 220 were from the civil population.
