Pervasive Atmosphere of Fear and Horror in Damascus
Armenia
Lurer.com talked to the representatives of Armenian community in Damascus, who evaluate the situation as most serious.
As they report, bitter battles are going on in the Christian district, where about 5000 Damascus-Armenians live. People can’t leave their houses and live in an atmosphere of pervasive fear and horror. There are no supplies of primary necessity in shops, people are condemned to inoccupation. In response to the question, what the situation is in Aleppo, the latters reply that it’s even worse.
As Damascus-Armenians say, a thick mass of Armenians wants to immediately leave Syria, but because of the lack of activists and high prices, they are deprived of that opportunity.
And Lebanon reports to Lurer.com, that the roads taking to airport have been blocked in Beirut, which, according to the circulating rumors is connected with the demand to return the 14 militants of Hzbollah of Lebanon, kidnapped by the Syrians.
