We Apprehend Behavior of Palace “Intellectuals”

“We demand to punish all the culprits of Harsnaqar incident” civil initiative released a statement, which particularly says:
“On June 17 of the current year, at Harsnaqar resataurant complex belonging to leading ARP representative Ruben Hayrapetyan, Hayrapetyan’s security workers severely beat a group of military doctors, one of which, Vahe Avetyan, not coming to consciousness died on June 29.
After consulting the ARP leader Serzh Sargsyan, to calm down the social movement, Ruben Hayrapetyan released a pathetic statement about putting down his deputy mandate.
According to NA regulation, the application on putting down deputy mandate should be published in the coming NA session, and if within the period of 15 days after the application publication the deputy doesn’t take back his application, his deputy authorization stops.
As far as the NA was on vacation at that period, this process was to be held in September at NA regular session.
And a month before the regular NA session, through a few false devotee medias, the public call on Ruben Hayrapetyan to refuse putting down his mandate.
This is a slap to the public, planned by criminal authorities.
We declare that people which defend Ruben Hayrapetyan directly or indirectl,y by this way they defend murderers and criminals, violating the natural rights and universal values.
This reprehensible behavior of people is probably connected with low state financing in spheres of culture and education, as a result of which instead of being paid for the dignified work, they are made to gaze at the pockets of people like Ruben Hayrapetyan.
Taking into account disastrous policy of political authorities which resulted bad social and economical condition of the country, we apprehend the behavior of palace “intellectuals”, at the same time being sure, that for real intellectuals universal values are more, than the obsession to fill the stomach.
Similar to Herostratus, these people immortalized their names on pages of civil struggle next to the names of defenders of Artashes Geghamyan, Armen Ashotyan, Shushan Petrosyan and criminal Ruben Hayrapetyan.”
