Clinton to Arrive in Ankara to Discuss Syria

Secretary of State Hilary Clinton has arrived in Turkey to hold talks with country’s leadership over Syrian crisis.
Hillary Clinton will meet with representatives of the Syrian opposition who are in Turkey now. She is expected to hold meetings with President Abdullah Gul and Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss preparation for transitional period which may be occur after Bashar Assad’s regime falls, RFW/RL reported.
Secretary of State may inform about additional supplies of humanitarian aid from the United States, Interfax reported.
Earlier UN said there are over 50,000 Syrian refugees in the territory of Turkey.
