The Spanish won in the “Eliot” class competition of W Sailing sports in London Olympic Games. They beat the Australian team in the final by 3-2 score. The official website of the games informs, that Tamara Echegoyen Dominguez, Sofia Toro Prieto and Angela Mendez became Olympic champions.
Bronze medals were won earlier by representatives of Finland, who beat the Russian team by 3-1 in the competition for the third place.
