David Safaryan was Defeated

The official website of the games reports, that the last representative of Armenia- David Safaryan (60 kg weight class) was defeated by Kazakh Akzhurek Tantarov by 2:3, 4:1, 2:2, in the ¼ final of the 30th Olympic Games being held in London. The Armenian athlete lost in the first round by 2:3, but beat the Kazakh athlete in the 2nd round by 4:1. The Armenian athlete won in the 3rd round by 2:1, but the Kazakhs protested. After watching the video, the referees awarded 1 point to the Kazakh athlete- 2:2, and since the last trick was done by the Kazakh, the victory was given to him.
Note, that Safaryan will have the opportunity to compete for the 3rd place if Tantarov gets to the final.
