The Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Arab League is Postponed

The international community failed to stop the conflicts in the streets of Syria. Foreign ministers of member states of the Arab League postponed the meeting to be held in the town of Jida, during which they were to discuss the issues related to the Syrian crisis,- BBC Russian reports on this.
The ministers were going to agree on the candidacy of a new Envoy in Syria, who should replace Kofi Annan (he resigned in the beginning of August).U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton announced about the discussion of the program of supporting the Syrian opposition with Turkey.
Meanwhile severe battles are going on between the government troops and the rebels in Aleppo and in the Syrian capital Damascus. During her visit to Istanbul, Clinton announced about various scenarios being developed by USA and Turkey. Syrian public television reports that the authorities are trying to find terrorists who will install a bomb around the central bank of one of the rich districts of Damascus, thus, causing panic among the civilian population. Conflicts started again between the “Syrian Free Army” and governmental troops in the big city of Aleppo. The announcements made by Syria is hard to check because of the restrictions put on journalists by the authorities.
