Olympic flag brought to Rio de Janeiro

The official flag of the Olympic Games was brought to Rio de Janeiro where preparation for 2016 Olympics has kicked off,  BBCreports.

Mayor of Rio de Janeiro Eduardo Paes brought the flag. He has already returned from London with the Brazilian participants of the Olympics.

The flag was handed over to Paes during the closing ceremony of London Olympics on August 12.
Brazil won 17 medals and appeared in the 22nd position in the medal table.
