British press: Caucasian lessons for Syria
World
The Guardian- writes in its editorial, that there are some wars that do not end. The Russian army- tsarist, post-Soviet and the Bolshevik, fought in the Caucasus for almost 3 centuries, and the Kremlin still can’t say that the problem is solved.
Who can say that the civil war in Syria, that goes on against the authority of Bashar al-Assad will end in victory and the authority will pass to people who will restore the country?
"I’m still not sure that events will have such an end. It’s vivid example is the fight in Aleppo," the newspaper writes.
From the aspect of rebels, the fight for Aleppo is failing . They themselves confess, that many locals are not happy with their presence and believe, that they are not liberators, but causers of suffer.
Aleppo residents consider, that it’s not the Damascus regime, but the Syrian Free Army is to be blamed for the problems.
