Serzh Sargsyan receives outgoing Lithuanian Ambassador

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received on Tuesday the outgoing Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia Giedrius Apuokas, presidential press service reports.
President Sargsyan noted Ambassador’s contribution to the recent intensification of political dialogue and new level of bilateral economic cooperation.
The sides spoke satisfactorily about interest and investments of the Lithuanian companies in the Armenian economic projects and stated that cooperation in economic field activating gradually brings forth reinforcement of bilateral relations in the cultural field.
The President has assessed high Lithuania’s support in assisting Armenia in the process of the European integration, as well as exchange of cooperation with the European institutions.
They also touched upon collaboration prospects within the frameworks of the EU Eastern Partnership project.
