Armenia’s Ambassador meets Minister of Culture of the Czech Republic

Armenia’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Tigran Seyranyan, on August 28 met with Alena Hanáková, the Minister of Culture of the Czech Republic, Armenian MFA press service informs.
They discussed the avenues for developing Armenian-Czech cultural relations.
Stressing that Armenia and the Czech Republic have very old and rich cultural heritage and traditions, the Ambassador noted that the exchange of diplomatic missions in the two capital cities creates new opportunities for expanding cultural ties.
In her turn, the Czech minister underscored the prospects for collaboration in the film industry as well as between the Memorial of Lidice and the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
In terms of carrying out an effective cultural partnership, the interlocutors underscored the cooperation agreement which the Armenian and Czech governments signed on December 10, 2010, in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.
