Saakashvili calls on Pashinyan to ‘run’ to EU, NATO
PoliticalFormer Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has called on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to "run" to the EU and NATO.
“Russia has banned the import of almost all Armenian agricultural products and Armenian brandy. Well, those who in the Kremlin leadership like Armenian brandy will not limit themselves (After the embargo on Georgian wine, they were treated to Georgian journalists at the Kremlin buffet without problems), and they will not care about the opinion of ordinary Russians.
“But this ban should light all the red lights for Pashinyan. [Russian President Vladimir] Putin did not dislike Armenian brandy, but Pashinyan himself, and the embargo is another step of ousting him from power.
“I want to repeat this again for the Prime Minister of Armenia. Dear Nikol: run away quickly; run away without looking back from the CSTO, the EAEU, run to the European Union, NATO, to the new regional unions. But most importantly, get as far away from Russia as possible, save yourself and the Armenian statehood! Putin is like a bulldog. He bites and doesn't pull back until he grinds his teeth. Get out of that bite to survive.
“I'm sure it's not too late. And stop slowing and swinging. Slowing down equals death!” Saakashvili wrote on Facebook.
