Russia confident that ‘temporary difficulties’ in relations with Armenia are surmountable
WorldRussian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikhail Galuzin expressed confidence that the temporary difficulties in Russia-Armenia relations can be overcome with the prospect of further development of relations between both countries, TASS reports.
Galuzin pointed to the many historical, cultural, humanitarian, and economic ties between the peoples of Armenia and Russia.
"This gives confidence to me, and not only to me, but to all of us, that some temporary difficulties in our relations are not only surmountable, but surmountable in addition to the further development of our diverse ties," the Russian deputy FM told reporters.
"Our [two] peoples stand for their strengthening, development, expansion, and deepening. This is the main strength of our relations; everything else is surmountable," the Russian diplomat added.
