RussiaRussia assumes that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will make use of the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and will be in Saint Petersburg on December 25-26, where he will participate in the traditional pre-New Year meeting of the heads of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and CIS countries. There, in fact, it would be possible to raise all questions of interest. This was announced by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian foreign ministry.
"Our [i.e. Russia’s] position regarding all aspects of the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations has been expressed many times and in detail, both by the president and the head of the Russian foreign ministry. In Moscow, being guided by the allied nature of relations with Armenia, we are always ready to discuss issues in a calm, professional, and partnership manner," added the official representative of the Russian foreign ministry.
