Kim Jong Un highlights readiness to destroy enemy capitals in case of confrontation
PublicationsPyongyang will not hesitate to carry out a devastating strike to wipe out enemy capitals in case the US and South Korea choose to embark on the path of military confrontation, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said.
According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim Jong Un stressed at a meeting with commanding officers of the Korean People's Army that the military should be ready to respond to acts of provocations. "If our adversaries opt for a military confrontation with our country, a devastating strike should be carried out without hesitation to wipe out enemy capitals and the pack of military gangsters," Kim said, as cited by the news agency.
"Comrade Kim Jong Un once again thoroughly assessed the situation on the Korean Peninsula, where the possibility of an armed clash is getting more real by the hour," the KCNA said.
