Constitutional reform concept to be submitted to Armenia public
VideoThe concept of constitutional reform in Armenia will be presented to the public. The Minister of Justice of Armenia, Grigor Minasyan, announced this at Monday’s press conference to sum up their activities in 2023.
The minister noted that at the end of December, the aforesaid concept, which was prepared jointly with the committee and the council, was submitted to the Armenian government. A part of this draft was approved by the committee, and the other part—by the council.
"The discussion will begin this month, after which the [Armenian] public will be presented with what that concept is," added Minasyan.
The justice minister assured that all respective matters were being resolved by open and transparent voting, there is no matter that will pass with just one or two votes, which means that the draft will be consensus-based, in agreement with the public sector, and submitted by the committee. This is very important, taking into account the track record of the past years, Grigor Minasyan added.
