Kim Kardashian becomes Balenciaga ambassador again

Kim Kardashian is once again a Balenciaga ambassador. The fashion house announced this by publishing a respecting post on Instagram. The 43-year-old Skims founder has officially formed a relationship with the French fashion house after wearing creative director Demna Gvasalia's designs over the years. 

The official promotional portrait of Kardashian was shot by documentary photographer Plato and came with a statement from her that reads: "For several years now, Balenciaga models have been a part of my many looks - and some of my most iconic fashion moments." “This historic fashion house combines modernity, craftsmanship and an innovative approach to design under Demna's leadership,” she continued. “To me, this long-standing relationship is built on mutual trust and a desire to do the right thing. I look forward to the next chapter in the brand’s story and the opportunity to become their ambassador.”

In the past, Kardashian has also starred in numerous Balenciaga campaigns, sat front row at the brand's shows, walked in the house's 51st Couture show, and accompanied Demna to the 2021 Met Gala. However, her connections with the fashion house were not without scandals. In 2022, Kardashian, like many others, announced that she was “reevaluating” her relationship with the brand amid controversy surrounding its ad campaigns.

In addition to Kim, Nicole Kidman also recently became a brand ambassador.
