Armenia soldiers who do not participate in military actions to also be able to improve their financial situation

The financial condition of servicepersons responsible for non-combat tasks in Armenia will improve. Deputy Minister of Defense Karen Brutyan announced this during the debates on the package of bills on addenda to the law on military service and the status of servicepersons and related laws at the session of the National Assembly on Tuesday.

According to Brutyan, the new law initiative will apply contract servicepersons in such domains as supply, construction, and finance. It will apply also to the employees of military commissariats and other specialized units.

The bill aims not only to solve the issue of unification of the payment system in the Armenian army, but also to considerably increase the appeal of service in the Armed Forces.
