Explosion in Lebanon seen from Northern Israel

Reuters An explosion was seen in Lebanon from across the border in northern Israel on Thursday morning (February 29).
 
Reuters footage showed clouds of smoke billowing over the hills.
 
The armed wing of Palestinian militant group Hamas on Wednesday (February 28) said it launched two missile salvos consisting of 40 Grad missiles from southern Lebanon into northern Israel.
 
Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement on its Telegram channel it had bombed the headquarters of the 769th Eastern Brigade and the airport barracks in Beit Hilal.
 
Lebanon's Hezbollah on Tuesday (February 27) said it had launched a volley of rockets at an Israeli aerial surveillance base in response to the Israeli military's deepest attack yet into Lebanese territory.
 
Hezbollah has been exchanging near-daily fire with Israel across Lebanon's southern border since October 8, a day after a bloody Hamas assault in southern Israel that triggered a fierce Israeli land, air, and sea offensive on the Gaza Strip.
