Ukraine needs help now due to high risk of Russian offensive in June: Zelensky

First of all, Ukraine needs American Patriot air defense systems and more artillery. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with CBS News, UNN reports.

 

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine most needs American Patriot missile defense systems and more artillery. He added that the nature of the funding allocated by the US government to help Ukraine should be considered in the long run.

 

"Let's be honest, the money that is allocated by the Congress, by the administration, in most cases 80% of that money - well, at least more than 75% - stays in the United States. These munitions come to us, but the production takes place there, and the money stays in the United States, and the taxes stay in the United States," the President said.

 

According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine has managed to stabilize the situation on the frontline, but it is not able to repel another major Russian offensive.
