No final decision to start the border delimitation from Tavush Province -Deputy Prime Minister
ArmeniaA decision on starting the border delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan from Tavush is possible if there is a consensus between the parties on the rest of the fundamental issues.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan told reporters at the National Assembly of Armenia on Tuesday.
Referring to the question of whether there is a decision to start the border delimitation from the Tavush Province, Grigoryan said. "The issues are still under discussion, no final decision has been made yet."
The Deputy Prime Minister has assured that until final decisions are made on the most crucial principles—security, socio-economic factors, and legal issues—a final decision on commencing negotiations on border delimitation cannot be reached.
The Armenian Deputy Prime Minister added that while many issues are being discussed and there are areas where perceptions align, but there are issues on which there is no consensus.
