Georgia deputy FM: We support Armenia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity
GeorgiaWe support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Armenia. Lasha Darsalia, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, stated this at the conference entitled "Armenia-Georgia Strategic Partnership," on Thursday.
Darsalia added that Georgia is in favor of stability in the South Caucasus, and supports the mutually beneficial cooperation of all the countries of the region.
"We hope to continue the positive dynamics in the process of reaching a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Georgia is ready to make its contribution to ensuring peace and stability in the South Caucasus," said the Georgian deputy FM.
Also, Darsalia welcomed the intensification of political dialogue between Armenia and the European Union.
In his assessment, Armenia-Georgia relations, which are predetermined by shared history and geography, have reached a new level.
