Pashinyan: By recognizing Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, we actually recognized Armenia’s territorial integrity

By recognizing the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, we actually recognized the territorial integrity of Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this during his final remarks regarding the debates on the results of the implementation of the 2023 program of the government in the National Assembly Thursday.

According to him, the fact of recognizing the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is necessary for Armenians in order to recognize the territorial integrity of Armenia because the territorial integrity of Armenia is surrounded by Azerbaijan.

"Even historically, according to the logic of the USSR, Armenia is the country that is surrounded by those countries. Because if you don't recognize their territorial integrity, you don't recognize the existence of your country. They put us in this temptation, and that is why we destroyed the sovereignty of our country with our own hands," Pashinyan stated, in part.
