Ilham Aliyev discussed issues of bilateral interest with his Iranian counterpart

The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev called the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, congratulated him on his election to the post of President and wished him success in his activities.

 

Pezeshkian thanked Aliyev for his attention and congratulations and assured that he will make every effort to develop relations between the two countries in all fields in the future.

 

During the conversation, confidence was expressed in the further expansion of Azerbaijani-Iranian relations based on common religious and cultural roots, friendship and brotherhood, and the development of cooperation covering various fields.

 

The president of Azerbaijan invited his Iranian counterpart to Azerbaijan. In turn, Pezeshkian invited the President of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
