Anna Vardapetyan and House of Representatives of the Netherlands discussed issues of mutual interest
BlogosphereToday, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan received the delegation of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Jaap Frederiks, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Victor Biyagov.
According to the statement from the Prosecutor General's Office, Anna Vardapetyan welcomed the guests from the Netherlands and emphasized that the meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss joint work and outline future areas of cooperation.
As the best example of cooperation with the embassy, the Prosecutor General highlighted the six-month courses for the development of communication skills and abilities for all prosecutors in Armenia, and emphasized the importance of new courses that will be launched in the near future.
The issues of combating corruption, confiscation of property of illegal origin, combating domestic violence, torture and others were discussed in the question and answer format. The Prosecutor General confirmed her readiness to develop cooperation in the above-mentioned areas, as well as in the field of illegal drug trade, combating cybercrime and environmental protection.
The parties discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
