Huawei Pura 70 Ultra: The new smartphone has the world's best camera?

Huawei Pura 70 Ultra, released recently, may turn out to be the smartphone with the world's best camera. So, at least, think DxOMark experts who tested the device.

The flagship Huawei Pura 70 Ultra is equipped with a main camera with an inch 50 MP sensor, which is complemented by a 40 MP ultra-wide-angle module and a 50 MP telephoto lens. The front camera is also not far behind, represented by a 13 megapixel sensor.

DxOMark experts noted that this versatile set of cameras provides high-quality shooting in a variety of conditions. They praised the camera's exposure accuracy, color reproduction, and autofocus performance. In addition, the zoom performance and the quality of portrait shots with a natural bokeh effect are recognized at a high level.

However, experts also noted a drawback - the loss of detail in low light in video mode.

Based on the test results, Huawei Pura 70 Ultra received an impressive 163 points, which allowed it to take first place in the ranking of smartphones with the best cameras.

Interestingly, most of the smartphones with the best cameras were made by Huawei. Second place in the ranking was taken by a smartphone from its former subsidiary brand Honor - Magic6 Pro (158 points). Another Huawei – Mate 60 Pro+ – shares third place with Oppo Find X7 Ultra (157 points), and the Huawei P60 Pro closes the top five. Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max takes only sixth position in the ranking with 154 points.

In November 2023, according to DxOMark, the camera of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ smartphone was considered the best in the world.
