Earthquake hits Tbilisi

No one was injured as a result of an earthquake that took place yesterday in Tbilisi, the city's Emergency Situations Service told Trend.

According to the Seismological Service, the epicentre of the earthquake was in the Isani-Samgori district of the Georgian capital and the magnitude of the tremors was 3.01.

The earthquake took place at 21:28 local time.

The Seismic Monitoring Centre does not expect a repeated earthquake. No tremors were recorded during the night.
