Tbilisi airport fails to receive flights due to heavy fog at night

Due to thick fog the Tbilisi International Airport could not receive six international flights at night. As the airport administration told Trend, aircrafts from Amsterdam and Tel Aviv landed at alternate airport in Batumi.

However, flights from London, Istanbul, Munich and Riga were forced to return.

It is unknown when these flights will be carried out. Fog is still observed in Tbilisi.
