Great Britain expresses gratitude to Georgia for its soldiers’ bravery in Afghanistan

Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces, Colonel Vladimir Chachibaya and chief of staff of the British troops, General David Richardson discussed Georgian-British military cooperation.
A delegation of the Georgian Defense Ministry continues its visit to Great Britain. The ministry told Trend that using Great Britain's experience in reforms implemented in the Georgian armed forces and the British side's significant support were discussed at the meeting.
The possibility of joint participation of Georgian and British soldiers during the post ISAF period was also discussed at the meeting.
Richardson has thanked the Georgian side for the Georgian soldiers' bravery during an operation in Afghanistan.
On Tuesday, the delegation will hold meetings at the British Defense Ministry and will discuss concrete plans for military cooperation.
