Georgia, Israel discuss regional security

Georgian Foreign Minister Maya Panjikidze is attending the security conference in Munich and holding bilateral meetings.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend today that Panjikidze had a bilateral meeting with Israeli Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon.
The parties have discussed the Georgian-Israeli relations, the prospects for future cooperation and regional security issues.
The need for high-level visits has been also discussed.
Foreign Minister will deliver speech at the session, dedicated to the south-eastern Europe and security in the Caucasus region on Feb. 2.
The Munich conference has been opened today and will run till Feb. 3.
