A colorful book was published with the name of “Development and educational standards for children from birth to 6 years old”.

The state educational standards of pre-school education, confirmed by the RA Ministry of Education and Science, define and describe what a child should know and be able to do at a certain age.

As a result of conducted works, with the support of UNICEF Armenian Office of UNO Children's Fund, there has been published a colorful book "Development and educational standards for children from birth to 6 years old" which is designed for educators and methodologists of pre-school educational institutions, as well as for other institutions which are in charge for families and children.

The standards designed for children of this age are classified according to development phases:

1. Motive sector

2. Speech and communication sector

3. Cognitive sector

4. Social, emotional and personal sector

5. Self-service, health care and safety sector

6. Study treatment sector.
