RA Diaspora Ministry representatives visit “Hayartun” Cultural Center in Tbilisi.

The representatives of the RA Ministry of Diaspora had a meeting with members of the Georgian-Armenian community at the newly established "Hayartun" Cultural Center adjunct to the Georgian-Armenian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
On November 17, Advisor to the RA Minister of Diaspora Stepan Petrosyan, Head of the Division for the Caucasus of the Department of Armenian Communities of the CIS Taron Shagoyan, Head of the "Armenia-Diaspora Center" State Non-Commercial Organization David Shahbazyan and Head of the Finance Division at the Ministry of Diaspora Hayk Hovsepyan visited "Hayartun" Cultural Center where they had a meeting with Primate of the Georgian-Armenian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, Advisor to the President of Georgia Van Bayburtyan, poet-translator Givi Shahnazar, the clergymen and church servants of the two churches, leaders of Armenian community organizations and Armenian intellectualsl at the Center's Calouste Gulbenkian Hall.
Stepan Petrosyan drew everyone's attention to the programs in which the Georgian-Armenian community had shown active participation and especially mentioned that this year several members of the Georgian-Armenian community had received the Movses Khorenatsi and William Saroyan Medals of the RA Ministry of Diaspora, certificates and letters of gratitude from the Ministries of Culture, Education and Diaspora. He also emphasized the Georgian-Armenians' successes in the "Ari Tun", Summer School for Young Journalists and other programs. Then, S. Petrosyan handed the certificate of the RA Ministry of Diaspora to dance instructor of the Ani Ensemble in Tbilisi Angelina Nazaryan.
Congratulating the Georgian-Armenian community on the opening of the "Hayartun" Cultural Center, the minister's advisor mentioned that he had not come empty-handed and was going to donate computers to "Hayartun".
Then, the employees of the RA Ministry of Diaspora answered the attendees' questions.
On November 18, the employees had a meeting with representatives of Georgian-Armenian youth organizations and Armenian students. The guests spoke of the programs that are being implemented in order to unite the Georgian-Armenians around the homeland and help them get more in touch with it.
On November 19, the representatives of the RA Ministry of Diaspora left for Javakhk.
