Armen Ashotyan: The education sphere is a priority for the Armenian Government.

Armenia's Minister of Education Armen Ashotyan received Council of Europe Secretary General's Special Representative Gerard Shtudman's delegation on Tuesday.

As Armen Ashotyan mentioned, the cooperation with European institutions is important for Armenia's education system. Armen Ashotyan has noticed that the Education sphere is a priority for the Armenian government. Then added that one of the most important factors of the Education reforms was the fight against corruption.

Council of Europe Secretary General's Special Representative Gerard Shtudman mentioned that the Council of Europe is ready to continue supporting education reforms in Armenia. He pointed out the sphere of children's rights as an important component for education reforms.
