Ecological condition of the Lake Sevan is being explored.

On November 24, Government of Armenia adopted a decision on prolongation of the date of customs regime "Temporary import" till December 15, 2014, regarding the scientific-research ship "Hydrologist" imported by the given regime by the Institute of Hydrology and Ichthyology of Hydroecology and Zoology Center of the Armenian Academy of Sciences.

The ship is equipped with relevant equipment allowing to conduct hydrological and ichthyologic studies of the bottom of the Lake Sevan.

The equipment belongs to Russian Federation and is transferred to Armenia according to the agreement on cooperation between the academies of both countries.

Authorities of Armenia adopted a similar decision prolonging the regime "Temporary import" till October 1, 2014 regarding self-propelled milling excavation machine Watermaster Classic 3 which is temporarily imported to the country from the Center of Ecological programs of the Ministry of Ecology of Armenia.
