On November 28-29, a CIS Inter-religious Council Presidium Session will take place in Yerevan. Leaders and representatives of the traditional religions (Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism) of the CIS countries will participate.

Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill I and Catholicos of all Armenians Karekin II will also participate in the council.

The presence of the Head of the Caucasus Muslim Board Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade and Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II is also expected.
