PAP member Naira Zohrabyan: "I advise Gagik Tsarukyan`s name speculators and their clients to refrain from immoral steps and not to play with fire".

During recent public rally of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), its leader and Armenia’s First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan had made some analyses concerning the ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), and these analyses caused quite a stir within the country’s political field.  

And in this regard, PAP MP Naira Zohrabyan issued a statement which specifically reads:

“Certain media have even decided to again link the names of PAP Chairman GagikTsarukyan’s bodyguards to the March 1, 2008 tragedy, and thus through their instructors they are perhaps trying to make Tsarukyan understand something. As PAP Faction member, I evaluate all this as simply immorality. We constantly speak about the need to form a new political nature and tolerance. We declare in Europe that we will hold the fairest elections, and respect the vote and view of each and everyone. What is it that hinders the implementation of all this, not conducting such unprecedented inquisitional processes and not starting witch hunts?”    

To note, during ANC’s aforesaid rally Levon Ter-Petrosyan had stated that if PAP were to fight for fair elections, avenues for cooperation with it could be considered.
