Armen Ashotyan: "We attach importance to the new and intensive cooperation".

RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan today received UNICEF Representative to Armenia Henriet Arensi, who recently assumed her mission in Armenia.
Greeting the guest, the minister voiced hope that the efficient experience in the cooperation between the RA Ministry of Education and Science and UNICEF will provide the opportunity to establish new directions for joint efforts for the benefit of children in Armenia.
"We attach importance to the new and intensive cooperation. The protection of children's rights, the creation of strong and promising foundations for their future, as well as the assurance of a child-centered educational environment are the priorities of the Ministry of Education and Science," Ashotyan mentioned.
UNICEF Representative to Armenia H. Arensi said she has started her mission in Armenia with pleasure and underlined that education is a pivotal sphere for UNICEF.
During the meeting, the joint projects being implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science and UNICEF were touched upon and special importance was attached to cooperation in the sphere of inclusive education.
The RA Minister of Education and Science mentioned that Armenia is considered the leader in inclusive education in the region and that the ministry is developing new programs for that. The sides expressed willingness to ensure efficient implementation and continuation of all joint programs and to discuss new projects.
