Armenian and Russian sides stressed the importance of deepening decentralized cooperation.

Armenian Deputy PM, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan received on Tuesday Russian Minister of Regional Development Victor Basargin. He is in Yerevan to participate in the 32nd session of CIS intergovernmental council on cooperation in the field of construction.
The sides discussed issues on cooperation between the Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration and the Russian Ministry of Regional Development. The sides stressed the importance of deepening decentralized cooperation. They pointed out a working group established on Armenian-Russian interregional cooperation.
It will be headed Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration Vache Terteryan from the Armenian side and Deputy Minister of Regional Development Maxim Travnikov from Russia.
The sides agreed to organize a meeting of co-chairs in the near future. Besides, the two Ministers discussed the issues related to holding the second interregional conference.
