The Slovenian National Assembly on Wednesday appointed Alenka Bratusek, 42, the leader of the Positive Slovenia party as the country’s first female Prime Minister.
Earlier on Wednesday the parliament ousted Prime Minister Janez Jansa in a no-confidence vote.
Last month Mr. Jansa was accused of corruption when it turned out that he had failed to declare 210,000 euros of his personal assets.
