A regular protest in front of Armenian Government Building.

The relatives of soldiers who died in times of peace and the eminent domain victims, whose houses were dismantled to build today’s Northern Avenue, in Armenia’s capital Yerevan, held protests in front of the Government Building, on Thursday.
The victims of eminent domain were especially very active, and they even decided to enter the Building in a large group. But the police officers immediately blocked the Building’s entrance.
To note, the police were surprisingly too cordial with the protesters.
It is noteworthy that while talking with one another, the citizens who lost their homes came to the conclusion that it was worse during tenure of Levon Ter-Petrosyan, the present-day opposition Armenian National Congress’ leader and Armenia’s First President, because “Levon ate our money,” they said.
