Tigers, deer released from drug lords' in Mexico

Mexican authorities have released two Bengal tigers and several deer belonging to the drug lords.
During a police raid near the town of Yaualika, cages with wild animals were discovered besides the customary drug labs. The owners of the land chose to flee rather than face the police, leaving behind quite an impressive haul for the law enforcers.
The confiscated materials for synthetic drug production have been sent to relevant authorities, while the fate of the animals will be determined by the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
Representatives of the criminal world in Latin America like to surround themselves with exotic animals. Thus, one of the estates of notorious Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, killed in 1993, contained the largest zoo of the continent. It had 120 antelope, 30 buffaloes, six hippos, three elephants and two rhinos brought from all over the world, TASS reports.
