 Vic Darchinyan lost by 12-round unanimous decision to Panamanian Anselmo Moreno in a 12-round WBA Super World and IBO bantamweight title fight on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Scores were 112-115, 110-117 and 107-120. Darchinyan lost a point in round four for shoving Moreno to the canvas. Moreno, the slicker boxer of the two dominated the fight. Moreno retained his WBA Super World bantamweight title and Darchinyan's IBO bantamweight title becomes vacant.
